Quiet Company is a band from Austin, TX. Beginning with their first release, Shine Honesty in 2006, Quiet Company has at many times been the only rock band in Austin.

Quiet Company won Rock Band of the Year during SXSW 2016, adding to their previous 11 Austin Music Awards including Band of the Year, Album of the Year, Rock Band of the Year, Indie Band of the Year and Song of the Year, all won on the strength of their 2011 release We Are All Where We Belong.

In January 2019, Quiet Company will release their 3rd EP since 2017, following up 2017’s raucous “Your Husband, the Ghost” with what originally was planned to be lead singer & songwriter Taylor Muse’s solo album: “On Corners & Shapes.”

BIG CITY OUTLAWS

Big City Outlaws is a high energy country rock/pop cover band that performed on the Bud Light Stage at Wildflower! Arts & Music Festival in Richardson. They have been entertaining the DFW metroplex since 2012.

This rockin’ group of musicians deliver country classics like Willie Nelson and Johnny Cash to keep the audience on their feet and singing along. Accurate renditions of classic rock includes Lynyrd Skynyrd, Journey, and Poison to current country artists such as Taylor Swift, Big & Rich, Kenny Chesney, and Zac Brown Band.

CHRIS CHISM RECEIVES MICHAEL TERRY PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARD

The Michael Terry’s People Choice Award was given to Chris Chism of Dallas at the conclusion of the Al Johnson Performing Songwriter Contest. 10 finalists were selected from 300 applicants in a blind screening process. The top 10 then traveled to Richardson and performed live on the UnitedHealthcare Singer Songwriter Stage inside the Eisemann Center during the Wildflower! Arts & Music Festival. Along with the honor of the award, Chism also received a $500 cash prize.
