Dallas Remington is a member of the Country Music Association, BMI; the Nashville Song Writer’s Association International; the Volunteer Country Bluegrass Music Association; and The Nashville Spotlight Family.  She has won several awards with the North American Country and Gospel Music Association International, including Entertainer of the Year 2017 ages 13-17, 2018 Female Vocalist of the Year ages 18-21 New Country Songwriter of the Year for “Found Her Freedom”(co-wrote with Amanda Cooksey), and Traditional Songwriter of the Year for “Trailer Key” (co-wrote with Cyndi Lymbaugh Torres/ Lonesome Dove, Garth Brooks).  Also, Dallas was awarded the Female Instrumentalist of Year 2018 ages 18-21.  Dallas plays regularly at Nashville area venues showcasing songwriters and performs at various venues both locally in Nashville and on tour. Recently, Dallas appeared on the 615 Hideaway and Nashville Access with Camo Wallace.  Dallas plays a variety of instruments with guitar and bass as her primary focus.

Dallas volunteers for several causes that are important to her.  She volunteers in Nashville for Hospital Hospitality House, Hope Ministry, and in Murray, Kentucky for the annual “Towing for Toys”.  Music has allowed Dallas to travel and perform in many places, but one that is especially close to her heart is her ministry outreach. About seven years ago, Dallas established “Melody for the Elderly”. She performed at long-term care and assisted-living facilities.  Dallas enjoys her ministry and says that it was a blessing to her.  She has made some amazing friendships and great memories with some very special people.  In 2014, Dallas was awarded the Kentucky Association of Health Care Facilities Youth Volunteer of the Year Award.

Dallas has put together a band – Gypsy Highway!  They have traveled and performed at corporate events, the Country Stampede in Kansas, the Tennessee State Fair, churches, Rocketown in Nashville, Tennessee and other venues in Kentucky, Tennessee, and Indiana.   They have played on streets, flat bed trailers, stages, and riverfronts!   They perform covers from Little Big Town, Johnny Cash, Miranda Lambert, and some of Dallas’s originals such as:   “Never Turned Around”(Co-wrote with Nashville songwriter, Reagan Stuart), “Boy In A Band “(Co-wrote with Nashville songwriter, Sydney St. George), and “Pay For That” (co-wrote with Nashville songwriters, Scott Barrier, and Billy Lee / “The One” Gary Allen).

Wildflower! Arts & Music Festival salutes rock with a concert by Back In Black AC/DC Tribute band on May 15. This high-voltage set will be streamed at 7 p.m. from the Hill Hall stage inside the Charles W. Eisemann Center for Performing Arts in Richardson, Texas. The Eisemann Center is one of the leading performing arts facilities in the metroplex and provides two of the six stages fans experience during the annual Wildflower! Arts & Music Festival.

Wildflower! seeks to collect stone cold art from residents and local artists in a creative project to build a Community Rock Garden at Richardson City Hall. Anyone can join in the fun by painting a favorite flower, wildflower, greenery, or bug on a rock to help make the garden “bloom!” The rocks and stones must be turned in by April 23. All of the painted pieces will be collectively displayed in the Community Rock Garden for the month of May.

Jack-fm presents Wildflower! Arts & Music Festival Over The Air on Friday, May 15, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. Richardson native and radio personality JT will host the Over The Air mini sets that will include music by the artists that would have rocked at Wildflower! during the three-day weekend May 15-17. The decision to cancel was announced in March and ticket holders received refund notifications.
