We have been missing John Waite since he’s been gone. The English-born lead singer of The Babys and Bad English is back in Texas after his Wooden Heart Acoustic Tour along the North Eastern part of America. For the past 35 years, John Waite has been writing, recording and performing his music for not only the love of song, but the love of his fans.

THE MAN BEHIND THE WILDFLOWER! MURALS – CHARLES CLAUDET III

Measuring 144 ft long and 8 ft high, this Wildflower! Arts and Music Festival mural is one of several murals and an annual rockstar project. Behind the mural is a leather goods designer for Bioworld Merchandising who happens to moonlight as a masterful artist every May. Charles Claudet III has been painting the murals since 2007 and says, “This is something that I look forward to every year.”

WACKY CHAD FLIPS FOR KIDS AT 2015 WILDFLOWER! ARTS & MUSIC FESTIVAL

Wildflower! Arts & Music Festival welcomes daredevil extraordinaire, Wacky Chad, for six shows on Performance Row, Saturday and Sunday, May 16-17, 2015. Laugh, gasp, cheer and hold your breath while stunt comedian Wacky Chad reaches heights of 9 feet on his pogo stick, rides a nine-foot tall unicycle and does handstands on a skateboard all while wearing a wireless headset microphone to interact with his crowd. WILDFLOWER! ARTS & MUSIC FESTIVAL SALUTES ROCK WITH CONCERT

Wildflower! Arts & Music Festival salutes rock with a concert by Back In Black AC/DC Tribute band on May 15. This high-voltage set will be streamed at 7 p.m. from the Hill Hall stage inside the Charles W. Eisemann Center for Performing Arts in Richardson, Texas. The Eisemann Center is one of the leading performing arts facilities in the metroplex and provides two of the six stages fans experience during the annual Wildflower! Arts & Music Festival.

COMMUNITY ROCK GARDEN SEEKS STONE COLD ART


Wildflower! seeks to collect stone cold art from residents and local artists in a creative project to build a Community Rock Garden at Richardson City Hall. Anyone can join in the fun by painting a favorite flower, wildflower, greenery, or bug on a rock to help make the garden “bloom!” The rocks and stones must be turned in by April 23. All of the painted pieces will be collectively displayed in the Community Rock Garden for the month of May.

Jack-fm presents Wildflower! Arts & Music Festival Over The Air on Friday, May 15, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. Richardson native and radio personality JT will host the Over The Air mini sets that will include music by the artists that would have rocked at Wildflower! during the three-day weekend May 15-17. The decision to cancel was announced in March and ticket holders received refund notifications.
