We have been missing John Waite since he’s been gone. The English-born lead singer of The Babys and Bad English is back in Texas after his Wooden Heart Acoustic Tour along the North Eastern part of America. For the past 35 years, John Waite has been writing, recording and performing his music for not only the love of song, but the love of his fans.

Measuring 144 ft long and 8 ft high, this Wildflower! Arts and Music Festival mural is one of several murals and an annual rockstar project. Behind the mural is a leather goods designer for Bioworld Merchandising who happens to moonlight as a masterful artist every May. Charles Claudet III has been painting the murals since 2007 and says, “This is something that I look forward to every year.”
Earlier this year the City of Richardson released a star-studded first round of the 2016 musical lineup for the 24th annual Wildflower! Arts and Music Festival being held May 20-22 in Galatyn Park. Dennis DeYoung and the Music of Styx
Alien Ant Farm
The Guess Who
Black Joe Lewis
Jimmie Vaughan and The Tilt-A-Whirl Band featuring Lou Ann Barton

Open Bidding on “Bass to the Bone” Donated by KidKraft for Annual Charity – Wildflower! Art Guitar Auction
The Wildflower! Art Guitar Program & Auction committee is currently offering this custom designed work of art titled “Bass to the Bone.” The instrument was originally donated by KidKraft, designed by Crystal Elisondo, and featured in the annual charity auction on display May 15-17 inside The Eisemann Center during the Wildflower! Arts & Music Festival.
“Bass to the Bone” was unclaimed by the winning bidder and is now once again available to the public for a starting bid of $1,000 or the best offer received before 5:00 p.m. on July 3, 2015. Due to the size of the item, it must be picked up in person and will not be shipped or delivered.
The Wildflower! Arts & Music Festival was honored to have Denny Dent perform in 1997. With three brushes in each hand Denny painted one of his legendary masterpieces, an ode to John Lennon. In the time it took to play a few music selections Denny has completed the “passionate dance on canvas.”
Denny lived to become a world renowned “rock and roll painter” but tragically passed away in 2004. His “two-fisted art attack” depicting one of rock’s most iconic musicians remains part of the Wildflower! Arts & Music Festival collectibles. Denny’s painting is on display in the Eisemann Center during May 15-17, 2015 and truly a work of art that every Wildflower! fan should experience up close.
Photographs are permitted and encouraged so that Denny Dent’s legacy continues to be shared within the art and music communities. www.wildflowerfestival.com

When asked about his genre, Berman says “I would call myself a lyric driven singer/songwriter in the folk tradition- but please don’t ask me to define that tradition.” Read More
