TEXAS NATIVE RADNEY FOSTER BRINGS COUNTRY FLAIR BACK HOME

As a young musician born in Del Rio, Texas, Radney started his musical career at age 14 playing guitar and writing songs. After high school, in 1985, he moved to Nashville to pursue his career in music, initially starting out as a songwriter. Here he met Bill Lloyd and they co-wrote “Since I Found You,” to be performed by Sweethearts of the Radio. This song reached No. 7 on the Top Ten Country Music charts, catapulting the duo into stardom.

Shortly thereafter, Foster and Lloyd teamed up and began recording. Over the four years they worked together, they produced three studio albums and had nine singles on the country music charts. “Crazy Over You” was their top single in 1987 reaching the no. 4 spot.

Jack-fm presents Wildflower! Arts & Music Festival Over The Air on Friday, May 15, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. Richardson native and radio personality JT will host the Over The Air mini sets that will include music by the artists that would have rocked at Wildflower! during the three-day weekend May 15-17. The decision to cancel was announced in March and ticket holders received refund notifications.

RICHARDSON CANCELS 28TH ANNUAL WILDFLOWER! ARTS & MUSIC FESTIVAL

The City of Richardson today announced that the 28th annual Wildflower! Arts & Music Festival, scheduled for May 15-17, 2020, has been canceled. The cancellation is designed to protect the public’s health and safety, consistent with guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and other public health experts, and also to ensure that City resources can remain fully focused on delivery of critical services throughout the duration of the COVID-19 situation.
