The Wildflower! Art Guitar Program and Auction was held May 19-21, 2017 during the Wildflower! Arts & Music Festival in Richardson, Texas. Republic Title donated a custom guitar for the fundraiser that benefits NETWORK of Community Ministries and the Richardson ISD Fine Arts Program. The Wildflower! Art Guitar Program & Auction committee is currently offering this custom designed work of art titled “Bass to the Bone.” The instrument was originally donated by KidKraft, designed by Crystal Elisondo, and featured in the annual charity auction on display May 15-17 inside The Eisemann Center during the Wildflower! Arts & Music Festival.

“Bass to the Bone” was unclaimed by the winning bidder and is now once again available to the public for a starting bid of $1,000 or the best offer received before 5:00 p.m. on July 3, 2015. Due to the size of the item, it must be picked up in person and will not be shipped or delivered.

2015 Wildflower! Art Guitar Auction

Hundreds of hours have been donated by local artists and organizations in an effort to create a unique piece of art to be auctioned in the 2015 Wildflower! Art Guitar Program & Auction. Electric and acoustic guitars are painted, chopped, molded, airbrushed, layered, built, and completely redesigned at the sole discretion of the artist. The collection annually displays new themes, rocking embellishments, and impressive conversions of the traditional instrument.

This year the donated guitars reflect an extraordinary group of artists and their individual vision of wild, musical masterpieces. See the pictures in the Wildflower! Art Guitar Program & Auction album.

Jack-fm presents Wildflower! Arts & Music Festival Over The Air on Friday, May 15, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. Richardson native and radio personality JT will host the Over The Air mini sets that will include music by the artists that would have rocked at Wildflower! during the three-day weekend May 15-17. The decision to cancel was announced in March and ticket holders received refund notifications.

RICHARDSON CANCELS 28TH ANNUAL WILDFLOWER! ARTS & MUSIC FESTIVAL

The City of Richardson today announced that the 28th annual Wildflower! Arts & Music Festival, scheduled for May 15-17, 2020, has been canceled. The cancellation is designed to protect the public’s health and safety, consistent with guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and other public health experts, and also to ensure that City resources can remain fully focused on delivery of critical services throughout the duration of the COVID-19 situation.
