Seldom do you come across a young woman with a voice mature enough to sing jazz and blues like the greats. Lola Toben is a rare gem. Her rich vocals and lyrics are clearly influenced by her childhood favorites, Aretha Franklin, Carole King, the Moody Blues, Elton John and Billy Joel.

Toben is a composer, pianist, songwriter, singer, and music teacher. She also contributes to studio projects as a vocalist or musician. Arts & Music Festival Over The Air on Friday, May 15, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. Richardson native and radio personality JT will host the Over The Air mini sets that will include music by the artists that would have rocked at Wildflower! during the three-day weekend May 15-17. The decision to cancel was announced in March and ticket holders received refund notifications.

The City of Richardson today announced that the 28th annual Wildflower! Arts & Music Festival, scheduled for May 15-17, 2020, has been canceled. The cancellation is designed to protect the public’s health and safety, consistent with guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and other public health experts, and also to ensure that City resources can remain fully focused on delivery of critical services throughout the duration of the COVID-19 situation.
