This year the Art Guitar Auction will include guitars signed by Pat Benatar, Bret Michaels, and Mike Modano!
(The Bret Michaels guitar will not be available for bid until Saturday.)

Since this program was introduced at the 11th Anniversary of the Wildflower! Arts & Music Festival, it has won both state and international awards for “Best New Fund-Raising Program.” Festival sponsors, Richardson jr. high and high school students, celebrities, sports figures and artists are all invited to enter a decorated guitar. Guitar entries, either electric or acoustic, can be transformed, painted, tiled, airbrushed or gilded in gold- whatever way you wish to express yourself, the music or maybe Wildflower!.

An assortment of guitars for the 2008 auction were generously donated by Daisy Rock Guitars! We can't wait to see the eclectic designs the artists come up with this year...so stay "tuned!"

The guitars are then put on display in the Eisemann Center and sold in a silent auction for the duration of the Festival. Proceeds from the auction benefit the NETWORK of Community Ministries and the fine art programs in the secondary level of the R.I.S.D.
