Wildflower! Art Guitar Program and Auction
Labeled the “Best New Fund-Raising Program” both state wide and internationally, the Wildflower! Art Guitar Program and Auction invites Festival sponsors, local artists, celebrities, and sports figures to create an entry by transforming an acoustic or electric guitar into a creative piece of work, through their own choice of expressive art (paint, tiles, airbrushing, etc.). Guitars are then displayed over the Festival weekend in the Eisemann Center and sold in a silent auction open to all Festival attendees. All proceeds from the auction benefit NETWORK of Community Ministries and the Richardson ISD Fine Arts Programs. Anyone is eligible to bid on the guitars and bidding ends at 3:00 pm on Sunday, May 20. For additional information or to enter a guitar, contact Suzanne Etman at firstname.lastname@example.org.
